A little about me...
I graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with an undergraduate degree in Psychology while minoring in Special Education and obtained a dual Masters degree in Early Childhood & Special Education from Lesley University. This is my 13th year in Norwell. I was the Early Childhood Coordinator/District Special Education Teacher for 11 years! Prior to that, I worked for the Sudbury Public Schools as a Special Education teacher K-2 and before that for the Wellesley Public Schools as I obtained my Masters degree. In addition, I worked for the League School of Boston. These have all been amazing, treasured experiences, which have allowed me to work with and learn from incredible teachers, parents, and students. I have always envisioned having my own classroom and feel privileged to teach First Grade! It is a powerful year where incredible growth takes place. I am very passionate about teaching and learning and hope to instill this passion in your children.
Another passion of mine is my family...my husband, 3 children (all boys!!) and our dog Ella! Together we enjoy the outdoors (walking, biking, hiking, traveling and going on adventures!), reading (is BIG in our house-I sometimes can't get the boys to take their noses out of a book during dinner), we also love music of all genres, enjoy projects (crafts/building/creating from recyclables), playing board games, cooking and spending time together! I can guarantee that as I will be hearing about your family stories, you will be hearing about mine (: We can all promise that there will be some embellishment, which always makes for a good story.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and having an amazing year with your children. We will learn a lot about ourselves and each other! Let's enjoy the journey together!
